General Fic #1 Set after the end of the series. Technically it's romance, but a weird one...whatever, let me describe it. Het, just so you know. Three years after her brother's death, Sayu joins the NPA in the steps of her brother, and marries Matsuda some undetermined amount of time later. They have a child. When the child is one-year-old, Matsuda dies in the line of duty. When the child is six (I'd like the kid to be a genius, but not necessary) a new Kira arrives in Japan-it appears Ryuk was bored yet again and dropped another notebook after gaining it from another Shinigami. How Ryuk got the book is your choice. Near (L) inlists in the NPA's help, including Sayu. She wouldn't like him at first, I don't think, until somehow Near and her child meet, and Near enjoys playing with toys and stuff anyway, so she's endeared by how well Near and her kid get along. Anyways...the rest is up to you. Het isn't like me, but I love Sayu, so I would SO read this. --Nilah
